This video is about the different ideas that people suggested regarding statehood of Oklahoma. After people attempted to make Oklahoma a "Native American state" and a "Black state", the government stepped in and established a state for all people. Cultural diversity and ethnicity of original settlers is also discussed and stereotypes regarding residents of the Oklahoma territory are debunked as well.

This video gives a great overview of America's ideal view of Westward and debunks the myths associated with it. Along with this, it talks about the diversity of the west (aka Ohio to California) in the 19th and early 20th century. About 7:30 minutes into the video, the host describes the daily activities of cowmen and farmers (both men and women alike.) Finally, minutes 3-7 talk about the removal of the Native Americans and the grievances associated with that.
